Accessibility statement for MyPorter
This accessibility statement applies to Global View Systems Ltd’s mobile software application MyPorter as a product available on Android and Apple O/S devices.
This mobile application is run by Global View Systems Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this mobile application. For example, that means you should be able to:

change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings

zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen

navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software

listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We’ve also made the mobile application text as simple as possible to understand.

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

Some images (e.g. MyPorter logo) do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content).
Disproportionate burden
We have determined that there is disproportionate burden to meet all the requirements for the following reasons:

An upgrade of the MyPorter mobile and web application is planned moving from a custom CSS/HTML native application to a Material Design component framework with an emphasis on ease of use and clear structure to improve fundamentally the Mobile Applications and Website conformity to WCAG2.2 AA.

This website was last tested on 25/03/2025. The test was an internal test carried out by Mat Johnston.
We used this approach to deciding on a sample of pages to test – Most Viewed Pages Approach leading with specific emphasis on the MyPorter Task View Page and Task Creator Page.
