We are here to help!

Managing and maintaining Oxygen and Medical Gas levels in the current climate is a challenge. We've answered the call from an NHS Trust in the Midlands; they needed something quick, simple and easy to use and we were happy to help.

The simple Excel template provides a real-time dashboard with at a glance view of current stock levels, ward use and week on week trends to help plan for future demand.

We’ve now made this freely available so that as many hospitals as possible can benefit. If you’d like to know more or know someone at your local hospital that would benefit from this, please get in touch.

The Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) portering service is run between two sites approximately five miles apart and are operational day and night, all year round, with more than 70 porters, 8,000 staff and over 700 beds. Smooth operations across the trust are essential to ensure the portering service can cater for the maximum number of patients and the increasing daily demands of a modern hospital. Every year approximately one million patients pass through the doors.

Across the HUTH trust, there are thousands of daily interactions between staff, and the porting system is at the heart. Communication must be efficient, both quick and clear, particularly if there is an issue that could potentially cause delays in patient or equipment transportation or if patient well-being is compromised.

We installed our MYPorter middleware solution powered by InteraX to ensure smooth operations and have been working closely with the portering team to send critical tasks through to their two-way radios.

We recently had the great pleasure of installing our MYPorter middleware solution at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh.  The team carried out job allocation testing around the facility.  This is a new build which looks fantastic and they now have a superb task allocation system to their Hytera two way radios.  The on-site coverage was first-rate and completed by Digital Angel Radio in Glasgow.

The choice of two way radio was obvious for this site, given the robustness of their IT systems and immunity from the devastating WannaCry virus which struck so many NHS hospitals and caused approximately 90 million to resolve.

The MYPorter middleware is able to enhance the current CAFM system, giving the discrete task notifications to the porter team to meet their KPI’s and to assist the patients to make a fast recovery.  Karl and Jamie completed the install and spent the time with the on-site team for training and to ensure the set-up was correct.  We continue to support the team as they open their doors to patients young and old.
